Membership Qualifications, Fee, and Approval Process

As a professional trade association, REEC is always seeking new members.

Requirements for membership include:

  • A minimum of ten years of experience in real estate, which includes professionals who are affiliated with real estate transactions (i.e., bankers, lawyers, public officials)
  • Nomination and brief letters of recommendation by two current REEC members, one of which needs to be from a REEC Board Director
  • An annual membership fee of $2,500
  • The requirement for ten years of experience in real estate may be waived if the applicant has achieved a position and level of experience to make and influence decisions that will support the activities of membership.

    The REEC Board of Directors will review new applications for membership (including letters of recommendation) at each quarterly board meeting and new members will be ratified by a majority vote of the board members.
